Qatar Airways adds extra flight to New York
Qatar Airways is stepping up their game by adding an incredibly convenient third daily flight from Doha to New York.
This much-anticipated new service will commence operations on October 30, 2021, and will be serviced out of the illustrious John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City.
Interestingly, this flight was originally flown by American Airlines until it transferred the service from Doha to Philadelphia instead of Doha to New York.
Now, Qatar Airways will be taking over this popular route by utilizing a Boeing 777-300ER. Just a gentle reminder, there is a seven-hour time difference between Doha and New York City, which is perfect for choosing one of the flight offerings that allow you to leave and arrive on the same day.
This service also offers more options for passengers since Philadelphia is an intermediary connection city, while New York is primarily a final destination. It’s worth noting that Qatar Airways will likely still maintain its service between Doha and Philadelphia.
Thanks to this latest addition, the Doha to New York route has become the most well-serviced route by any Gulf airline, a remarkable achievement indeed!
