1. Bali & Nusa Penida
Bali is the most popular destination in Indonesia.

If you are visiting Bali, do not miss its neighboring island – Nusa Penida. It’s known for its pristine beaches and amazing snorkeling spots.
2. Mount Bromo, East Java
Mount Bromo is a live volcano in East Java, and a popular place to visit. It’s a part of the Tengger mountain range, which has many active volcanoes. You can visit Bromo by joining a group in Probolinggo, or by going to Cemorolawang and exploring from there. Bromo is about 40 km southwest of Probolinggo, and only 4 km from Cemorolawang.
3. Ijen volcano, East Java
Ijen is a volcano in East Java. It has a pretty turquoise lake and is a great place to see in Indonesia. At night, you can see blue fire from the cracks releasing sulfuric gas. There are also workers mining sulfur there. You can go to Ijen with a group or by yourself, like with Bromo.
